The Shell House at Horizon South Resort is near perfection for anyone seeking an opporunity to get away from the hustle and bustle to experience relaxing in a private, serene oasis enjoying down time with friends and family yet able to enjoy great amenities right outside the door. One of the great advantages of vacationing at The Shell House is never having to deal with crowded elevators, packed parking decks or peek a boo balconies. The Shell House is a 2 story townhome with ground floor access, parking is right in front of the building and the spacious patio is open to the beautiful Florida sunshine but privacy is assured due to the Privacy fence that completely surrounds the large patio.
Conveience is another important factor enjoyed while staying at The Shell House. The Horizon South Resort's north side gate provides direct access to Panama City Beach Parkway, locals still refer to it as Back Beach Road, and the southern gate is on Front Beach Road directly in front ot our renowned Sugar White beach and refreshing Aqua, crystal clear Gulf of Mexico. Many guests like the fact that The Shell House is only 2.5 miles from Pier Park shopping, concerts, festivals, and shows at Aaron Bessant Park. Active individuals and families always find something fun to do at the Frank Brown Park, also less than three miles from The Shell House, offerng the lighted ball fields,batting cages,  Concession stand, all weather tennis and basket ball courts,  kids playground and Splash pool, dog park, Picnic Paviolions, Youth Fishing pond,  Gayle's Trails and the Panama CIty Beach Aquatic Center.
Restaurants, musuems, convenience stores, fast food restaurants, pharmacies and grocery stores are also nearby.

The fact that there is also a full bath on both floor provides additional convenience. The well equipped kitchen has been supplied with all the esentials desired to create and serve family meals. The full size washer and dryer is easily accessed across the hall from the kitchen.  The open and airy living room with its spacious 2 story ceiling, is comfortable with enough seating for everyone. The living room opens to the large private patio.  Direct and indirect lighting, windows, comfortable beds and seating, sofa, love seat and an easy boy recliner in the living room, wifi, 3 nice HD televisions with cable for premium channels and music, private entrance, gated community, convenient parking are some of the reasons people enjoy staying at The Shell House at Horizon South.  We hope you will too.
